In the centre of Bad Hall, a landscaped park opens up that has offered space for relaxation, encounters and quiet discoveries for generations. Kurpark Bad Hall covers 34 hectares and is freely accessible all year round - a green refuge for guests, families and the health-conscious.
Over 20 kilometres of paths lead through lovingly designed park areas: past around 20 themed gardens such as rose, villa and rhododendron gardens, through shady avenues and down into the romantic Sulzbach valley. More than 40 species of trees and shrubs - including winter lime trees, ginkgos, copper beeches and rare tulip trees - characterise this historic garden.
The Gustav Mahler memorial, which commemorates the beginning of his conducting career in Bad Hall, adds a cultural touch. Playgrounds, spacious green areas and catering facilities also make the Kurpark a lively meeting place for all generations.
Here, the tradition of the spa town is combined with contemporary recreation - a place where nature, history and the soothing flair of Bad Hall can be felt.
Lovingly designed flowerbeds, around 20 themed gardens - including rose, shade and villa gardens - as well as a natural pond and a large biotope provide a constant stream of new impressions. Old trees, some over 100 years old, and exotic shrubs give the park its unique character.
