Interesting facts about the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard
ThePyhrn-Priel AktivCard is the free guest card for your holiday in 360° Alpenland in Upper Austria when you stay overnight at a member business. From 1 May to 1 November, you will automatically receive it on arrival when you stay overnight at around 190 partner businesses - valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure. It opens up over 60 free services and numerous discounts between the mountain world of Hinterstoder, the Kalkalpen National Park and the region's cultural sites.
The AktivCard is linked to an overnight stay in a partner business in 360° Alpenland. You receive it directly on arrival - no application, no additional costs. It is valid for just one night and accompanies you throughout your entire stay in the south of Upper Austria.
The Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard is always valid from 1 May to 1 November, unless 2 November is a Saturday or Sunday, in which case it is still valid. During these 185 days, the region between mountains, alpine pastures, river valleys and towns unfolds particularly intensively - and you can use the included services as often as you like, from the day of arrival to the day of departure.
The AktivCard gives you access to more than 60 free offers: unlimited cable car rides in Hinterstoder and on the Wurzeralm, admission to outdoor and indoor pools, the thermal spa, museums and guided ranger tours in the Kalkalpen National Park. There are also around 28 bonus services with discounts.
The Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard cannot be purchased separately. It is intended exclusively for guests staying in one of the partner businesses - and is issued there at no extra charge. There is a separate season card for locals or non-overnight guests.
You receive the AktivCard for just one night in a partner business. This makes it ideal for short breaks, extended weekends or spontaneous time-outs in the heart of Upper Austria.
Yes, with the Pyhrn-Priel AktivCard you can use the cable cars in Hinterstoder (Höss) and on the Wurzeralm at no extra cost. The toll road to the Höss is also included. So you can reach scenic hiking trails and mountain pastures comfortably and sustainably.
The AktivCard also includes selected public transport in the region. This allows you to reach hiking areas, mountain railways or excursion destinations in a climate-friendly way - and experience the 360° Alpine region in a relaxed way without having to get in the car all the time.
You can use almost all of the included free services as often as the respective conditions allow during your stay. The AktivCard is valid from the day of arrival to the day of departure - with no limit on individual days. Only admission to the Thassilo Therme Bad Hall is limited once per card.
