In Pyhrn-Priel in 360° Alpenland, your mountain experience begins in the saddle. Signposted bike & hike routes in all levels of difficulty lead you through lovely villages, dreamlike landscapes and into the mountains. Park your bike safely at the changing stations and set off on foot: to alpine pastures, through forests, natural jewels by the water or up to summits with spectacular views.
Bike & Hike combines two forms of exercise to create a harmonious nature experience. You set off by bike through valleys and along quiet paths, feel the wind in your hair - and continue on foot, up to alpine pastures, viewpoints or summits.
Step by step, this creates an intensive approach to the mountain world between Pyhrn and Priel and to the landscapes around the Kalkalpen National Park. Movement and vastness intertwine - at your own pace.

Bike & Hike routes combine the best of both worlds: Cycling and hiking. You cycle to a changing station, park your bike safely and continue hiking from there. This combination makes it possible to cover longer distances while exploring the diverse nature in the heart of Upper Austria.
360° Alpenland has a well-developed network of signposted cycle and hiking trails. These routes are only marked with a special Bike & Hike symbol in the 360° Alpenland hiking and cycling map and often lead to idyllic Alpine pastures and viewpoints.
The usual hiking and cycling signposting must be observed on site. The changing stations are signposted as such, have an overview board for the hiking routes and a bike stand to park your bike (bring your own lock!). You can charge your e-bike free of charge at most of the changing stations (bring your own charger!).
The offer ranges from easy tours for families to challenging routes for experienced mountain bikers and hikers. The levels of difficulty are usually listed in the 360° Alpenland hiking and cycling map or can be found in the descriptions here on the website.
Yes, e-bikes are ideal for bike & hike tours. They make it possible to cover longer distances and greater differences in altitude. This means that the subsequent hike can also be completed in good time.
