The Wurbauerkogel near Windischgarsten is a bike park that tangibly combines technology and nature. Between forests and panoramic views, you'll be able to carve your lines through bends, berms and varied passages - nestled in the mountains between Pyhrn and Priel. Whether it's your first flow experiences or precise line selection in more challenging terrain: the routes are clearly guided, laid out close to nature and offer space to develop your skills. The surface changes, you set the pace.
Panoramic views and fresh mountain air at the top, a relaxing end to the day at the bathing lake or in the guest garden in the valley. It is precisely this mix that characterises a biking day in 360° Alpenland: Trail flow, nature and spots to unwind - all close together.
Four trails cover every level:
Blue Lollipop for beginners, Big Red with features for advanced riders, Red Root-Carpet technically demanding and the Black Widow for experienced downhill bikers. In short: flow to full speed.
A wall ride shortly after the start and a pump track as a practice course provide fun and technique training.
If you want to roll even further, there is a single trail on the Wurzeralm that is around five kilometres long - with plenty of rhythm and views.
The Wurbauerkogel bike park is a paradise for downhillers of all levels. It offers four varied trails (flow trail, freeride, downhill and pump track), bike hire, a wash station and a cosy sun terrace.
The Wurbauerkogel bike park is suitable for both beginners and experienced downhillers. Thanks to the pump track, children and beginners can also improve their riding technique.
Helmets are compulsory on the entire site. It is also recommended that you wear protectors. The bike park is well signposted and the difficulty levels of the trails are clearly labelled.
Opening hours vary depending on the season (usually from the beginning of May to the beginning of November). The best way to find out about the current opening times is to visit the Wurbauerkogel website.
You can find the current prices on the bike park website.
You can hire a downhill bike and equipment at the Pyhrn-Priel Bike Centre.
Here you will also be informed about the rules in the bike park.
Unfortunately, the chairlift will not be in operation in 2025.
