In the mountain world between Pyhrn and Priel, ten dedicated changing stations have been set up for your Bike & Hike experience. Here you can charge your e-bike for free, park it safely and prepare for the next section in peace. From the signposted changeover station, it's time to get off your bike and continue on foot - cycling is not permitted in this area.
This makes the transition from cycling to hiking clear and relaxed at the same time - your start towards the mountains begins right here.
Park your bike at the bike stands and start your hike. The overview board informs you about the route, refreshment stops and places of interest along the route.
You can charge your e-bike free of charge at selected changing stations (take your own charging cable). Please note: Parking and use are at your own risk.
Cycling is not permitted from the signposted changing station onwards. This is where your hiking section begins - please respect the rules, they will be checked accordingly.
A bike & hike transition station is a specially marked point along a route where cyclists can safely leave their bike and continue on foot. These stations serve as a transition point between cycling and hiking and make it possible to undertake longer tours while enjoying the diversity of the landscape.
The transition stations are signposted as such, have an overview board for the hiking routes and a bike stand to park your bike (bring your own lock!). You can charge your e-bike free of charge at most of the changing stations (bring your own charger!).
The Bike & Hike changing stations are distributed along the signposted Bike & Hike routes in 360° Alpenland. The exact location is shown on the free Alpenland hiking and cycling map.
