With the night watchmen through the romantic town of Steyr

Hardly anyone can tell you as much about the eventful past of the medieval town as the Steyr night watchmen. Dressed in traditional costume, they guide you through the beautiful old town and entertain you with all kinds of tales and legends - the climb up the parish church tower is rewarded with a breathtaking view over the rooftops of the town!

The night watchman's dine-around is a special culinary journey to surprising places. After a welcome with a glass of sparkling wine, you climb the parish church tower . Then it's on to a short presentation in the Steyrer Kripperl. The appetiser is served during a short demonstration of medieval craft scenes.
The Steyrdorf soup is served with old Upper Austrian music in the atmospheric Michaelerkeller . The journey comes to a cosy end in the night watchman's restaurant with a main course and dessert.

The picture shows two people in traditional black clothing taking a walk through a historic alleyway. They are carrying lanterns and walking sticks and appear to be on a guided tour.

"Night watchman stories from Steyr. Retold and written down by Kurt Daucher" is the title of the night watchman's book of anecdotes, which has a lot of history and just as many stories to offer. It is an amusing and interesting reference book, which is available for € 10.

The picture shows two people standing in an evening landscape. Their silhouettes are clearly visible, while a crescent moon can be seen in the sky and lights can be seen in the distance.
